The Housing Authority of the Town of Boonton, is located at 125 Chestnut Street, Boonton, NJ 07005. We have one mixed family high-rise (60 units); and one low-rise complex (14 units), for a total of 74 units. The Authority was created through a resolution of the Town of Boonton and organized as a public housing authority as defined by State Statute
The mission of the Authority is “to provide, through public and private partnerships, decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing for low-income families, without discrimination; and to improve the quality of life for residents by promoting family self
sufficiency.”

INVITATION TO BID for the Stormwater Management of the Chestnut Street Apartments Boonton Housing Authority

Sealed Bids for furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and performing all Work for theStormwater Management to the Chestnut Street Apartments, project will be received and opened at the office of The Boonton Housing Authority to the attention of Ms. Sherry Sims, Housing Authority of the Town of Boonton, 125 Chestnut Street, Boonton, New Jersey 07005 at 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on July 9, 2026. A pre-bid conference will take place on June 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at 125 Chestnut Street, Boonton, New Jersey 07005. Copies of the Bidding Documents including the Instruction to Bidders, Bid Form, Bid Bond Forms, and Contract Documents can be obtained from McKernan Architects, 100 Dobbs Lane, Suite 204, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08034 by emailing Michelle Wyman, michelle@mckernanarchitects.com. Subcontractors, manufacturers, and material suppliers should obtain information and review the Bidding Documents by contacting potential Bidders. Documents will also be available for review at the Housing Authority of the Town of Boonton, 125 Chestnut Street, Boonton, New Jersey 07005. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten (10%) percent of the bid total, payable to the OWNER, all in accordance with the provisions contained in the Bidding Documents. All materials, supplies, parts, etc. must be American made as per the Buy American Requirement of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. OWNER reserves its rights to waive any informality or deficiency in any Bid, to accept any Bid, to negotiate modifications of any Bid with any Bidder and accept any modified Bid, to reject any Bid, to reject all Bids, and to rebid the Project, all at the OWNER’s sole discretion.
